Police Officer, Eddie Johnson, was killed on October 20, 2014, in a single vehicle crash while responding to a structure fire.

Officer Johnson also served as Fire Chief of the Alton Volunteer Fire Department, and as a Reserve Deputy for the Oregon County Sheriff's Office.
The Punkin Run is a benefit ride/motorcycle event, to raise money for the

Eddie "Punkin" Johnson
Memorial Scholarship Fund.

This scholarship was set up by Eddie's co-workers, to honor the memory of their fallen Brother.

The 2021 Punkin Run Benefit/Dice Run
will be held on

Alton Square

9:30 am (registration)

Entry Fee:
$15 Operator/  $5  Passenger

Food & Auction:
11:00 am

2021 (limited edition) Patches
Poker Chips
and other items
will be sold at the event, or by pre-order.

The Punkin Run is open to motorcycles and vehicles of all types.

Ride begins and ends on the square in Alton, MO
with kickstands up at
12:00 pm.

The Alton Boy Scout Troop 102 will conduct a flag retirement ceremony, following the ride.

All proceeds Benefit the
Eddie Johnson Memorial Scholarship.
